Celebrating Age 2016 engaged approx. 1200 people across NI in intergenerational activity to mark 29th April, which is European Day of Solidarity between Generations.
96% of participants said taking part made them feel more included in their community and 94% said it made them feel better connected to their neighbours.
This compares to the 2015 statistics which were 93% and 91% respectively.
98 % of participants in both years thought it was important to celebrate EU day of Solidarity between Generations. This was pre-referendum!
