LGNI are recruiting Trustees! Get in touch!

Are you passionate about intergenerational practice and an interest supporting its progression across NI? LGNI are seeking to recruit trustees (voluntary) with the skills, expertise and enthusiasm to grow and develop our small but mighty charity!  Previously part of The Beth Johnson Foundation a UK based charity, we are now established as a charity in NI. This is an exciting time to join our Board, we would love to hear from you!

Linking Generations Northern Ireland (LGNI) have led the way in connecting generations in communities across Northern Ireland since 2009 and are the only organisation solely focusing on the development and promotion of intergenerational approaches to tackle ageism and the building of a truly age friendly society. We have a growing network of over 1070 practitioners ad community champions that assist us to link generations in all sorts of places and in all sorts of ways.

We have a small group of trustees, and we are seeking to grow our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of the charity and create positive impacts in the lives of older and younger people across NI.

We are seeking to widen the range of skills on our Board and would particularly welcome interest from people who have experience with finance, human resource, organisational development (e.g. policy, governance), marketing and communications, fundraising and project management.

The Board currently meet for around an hour a month as we are in a busy period of set up. Passion for the work and commitment is just as important as being able to contribute in any of the above areas. If you want to chat to a member of the Board about the role, please email us at: contact@linkinggenerationsni.com

If you’re interested, thank you! Please complete this form by 12 June 2026 and we will be in touch:
