Art Across Age's Projects Well Underway!

LGNI are excited to see all of our four Arts Across Ages Projects now well underway!  This fantastic project has enabled LGNI to make links between care home settings and primary and secondary school pupils with funding from the Arts Council NI Arts for Older People programme.

So far LGNI have:

• Created partnerships between settings
• Engaged local artists based on older peoples interests
• Delivered intergenerational and dementia awareness sessions to all pupils
• Supported local artists to get intergenerational arts sessions planned and underway

Each new intergenerational partnership will take part in a total of 6 arts sessions with a final celebration event to showcase their achievements!  Check out the photos below to see the participants enjoying various art genres including textiles, painting, drawing and printing!
