What a fantastic celebration event we had last week at Bramblewood Care Home Bangor to mark the end of their intergenerational art project with by residents and pupils from Bloomfield Primary School!
Under the expert guidance of Oonagh Linden BOOM Studios the group explored and grew their artistic capabilities through 6 intergenerational arts sessions and built strong friendships in the process! Their lovely artwork from free drawing to collage was on display for all to see on the day!
Mayor of Ards and North Down Borough Council Cllr Gillan McCollum attended to recognise the success of the project, meet the participants and join in the celebrations!
A massive well done to everyone involved and special thanks to Evis (Bramblewood Care Home), Mrs Bishop (Bloomfield Primary School) and Oonagh Linden Artist.
Both Bramblewood and Bloomfield Primary have now formed a great link and working relationship with plans to continue to work together when possible which is the biggest success for LGNI! We can't wait to hear your future updates!
