Grandmothers Hands Intergenerational Recipe Competition!

Barnardo's SEEN are hosting this fantastic intergenerational recipe competition with entries closing on the 30th September 2024.

The aim of the competition is to inspire conversations and the sharing of food memories between generations in families and communities!

To give some inspiration of how you might approach this competition as an activity with an intergenerational group e.g. school pupils and grandparents please see the activity resources below developed by LGNI:

Intergenerational Food memory discussion questions  -Some suggested questions that can be used to facilitate discussion between generations on food and food memories.  It's a great way to start to build a recipe with a story that can be entered for this competition!

Foodie Human Bingo - A great icebreaker activity that can be used with intergenerational groups!  Make sure to include a prize for the winner!
