A big well done to the recent My Home Life NI cohort who successfully completed their accredited intergenerational training with LGNI! Lynne B delivered the face to face training in Strabane to 21 trainees aimed at equipping them with the skills and enthusiasm to develop intergenerational activities and links in the care homes they work in.
At LGNI we believe in the capacity building approach recognising its impact and sustainability. We can't wait to see the trainees put their new learning into practice for the benefit of residents and staff alike, supporting their existing objectives and care home standards. Thanks to My Home Life for providing this opportunity and for their ongoing support of intergenerational practice.
