Online Intergenerational Session for Integrated Education Staff

Last Thursday, as part of the the NI Council for Integrated Education's Teachers' Committee's programme, Vicki and Elaine took the time to deliver a highly informative and engaging online session on the work of LGNI and intergenerational practice. This ties in deeply with the Integrated Ethos and with Anti Bias in Education.

Thanks to NICIE for organising and for the schools we have worked with who presented their fantastic intergenerational activities and approaches - 🙏 Seaview Integrated Primary, Integrated College Dungannon and New-Bridge Integrated College!

Thanks also to Public Health Agency for supporting LGNI's staff time which enables us to provide our NI wide Intergenerational Support service and to coordinate our NI wide network of over 1000 members!

LGNI's evidence shows that intergenerational approaches support educational outcomes, contribute to building an Age Friendly NI and much more. Funding to support capacity building to sustain these approaches in the communities we live, work and go to school is vital!  LGNI staff will continue our efforts to provide this support to communities, organisations and settings across NI!

You can watch the recording of this online session HERE or at the bottom of this page.
