Our 4.75 hour CPD accredited Intergenerational training is a great place to start. LGNI are delighted to be able to offer this amazing FREE training opportunity to Early Years practitioners across Northern Ireland!
Intergenerational connection and activity is a great way to enhance and add value to the work of your setting and has multiple benefits for all involved!
LGNI have partnered with UK partners Generations Working Together Scotland and Apples and Honey London on the Creating Intergenerational Communities Project. This project will focus on the development of Quality indicators for intergenerational practice and as part of this five lucky Early Years settings in NI will have the opportunity to pilot these indicators! This free training opportunity is the first stage of identifying our participating settings and we are now taking expressions of interest! Register your interest here
Delivered over 3 modules (1 day or 3 short sessions) the training covers:
You will also receive a completion certificate with 4.75 hours CPD (Linking Generations Northern Ireland - The CPD Standards Office) and a copy of LGNI's Training Manual to refer back to!
Trainees will then have the opportunity to further engage in the LGNI Quality indicators pilot!
There is usually a cost to the training but this particular opportunity is free!
