Halifax Foundation Supports LGNI Work

The Halifax Foundation has made a £4,850 grant to LGNI. We are very pleased to receive this support;

Vicki Titterington, LGNI Director says:

"This grant will fund us to interact with Care Homes and schools to promote intergenerational connections in our  communities. The project will have 2 objectives; firstly to increase the levels of skills, self-esteem and self-worth amongst older and younger people and increase Intergenerational practice capacity within communities and organisations and secondly to decrease loneliness, isolation and fear amongst and between people of all ages, and create more positive attitudes and empathy towards other generations and increased connections to community".

We are delighted to be involved in this very worthwhile work.
