Intergenerational Teacher Training

LGNI are pleased to announce that the 2nd cohort of Teachers to undertake intergenerational training have completed the course!

Teachers from Carr Primary School, Currie Primary School and the Irish Society Primary School took part. The schools are in Lisburn City, Castlereagh, Belfast and Causeway Coast and Glens Council areas respectively.

They all felt they had increased their knowledge of intergenerational practice and how to implement activities in existing activities within the school curriculum.

One teacher commented  ‘This training has been super and given me great ideas. Thank you'

All are inspired to bring IG practice into their approach to learning!
