LGNI were delighted to attend Generations Working Togethers' (GWT) Annual International Conference at the start of March. The conference focused on everything intergenerational and was packed full of informative and inspiring workshops. The GWT Intergenerational Awards were presented at the conference showcasing amazing examples from across Scotland and new funding to address Loneliness launched by the Scottish Minister for Older People and Inequalities.
GWT succeeded on bringing together 139 delegates interested in intergenerational practice including a global group of academics and practitioners representing 8 countries across the globe.
Vicki, Joyce and Elaine made the most of the trip taking in everything the conference day had to offer and taking part in an intergenerational international symposium the next day! So much opportunity for the sharing of learning and partnership working.
