Bringing Generations Together: Understanding and Developing Intergenerational Practice

LGNI are very excited to offer this new training opportunity available via  Queens University Belfast Open Learning!
QUB Belfast Campus 5 weekly sessions commencing Wednesday 5th October 6pm-8pm (OLE3212)

Students are supported from generating an intergenerational idea through to all the stages of developing and delivering a project including evaluating success/identifying social impact and exploring how to make your intergenerational approach sustainable. It provides a great opportunity to learn about the theory behind intergenerational practice and to explore how intergenerational practice can add value to your work/study. The course will finish with a reflective session offering trainees an opportunity to reflect on their own learning and practice.

The course is designed for any community worker or practitioner wishing to develop intergenerational approaches into their practice. This includes but is not exclusive to the following sectors/fields; community and voluntary health and social care, community development, education community safety, sheltered housing arts, culture and heritage.
