On Wednesday 25th June celebrations took place in Portaferry to recognise the success and to unveil artwork as part of their intergenerational art project supported by LGNI. Over the past couple of months pupils from Portaferry integrated have worked alongside their older friends from Portaferry Community Services and local artist Davy Holden to create a beautiful piece of ceramic/mosaic community art! The Deputy Mayor attended to join in their celebrations along with participants and the wider community!
The project was one of three supported by LGNI as part of our 'REAP What You Sow Through Art' project funded by the Arts Council for Northern Ireland Lottery Good Causes Rural Engagement in Arts Programme.
