Linking Generations NI together with their partners Generations Working Together and Apples & Honey Nightingale have successfully delivered the first round of training on the Creating Intergenerational Communities project toolkit!
The Creating Intergenerational Communities (CIC) Toolkit, accompanied by this focused training, forms part of a national pilot to develop potential indicators of intergenerational good practice.
It is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. The pilot is taking place in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, and runs from January 2023 to July 2025; a two-and-a-half year project.
This training gives our pilots a more in-depth understanding of the Toolkit, enabling them to trial and test the strands of the four domains within it, while using a set reflective questions to gauge the quality of their intergenerational activities.
We're really looking forward to their findings and rolling this out in the new year to all our UK pilot settings.
