Across Borders & Generations Report Launched!

Over the past year LGNI have enjoyed working on this exciting cross border intergenerational project funded by the Department of  Foreign Affairs Ireland Shared Island Civic Fund.  LGNI partnered with Fingal County Council on this project which aimed to bring together younger and older people from the North and South to develop locally driven intergenerational initiatives.

Our project participants were recruited from Balbriggan and Mayobridge with support from Fingal County Council, Foroige Balbriggan, Mayobridge Youth & Community and Southern Agewell Network.

The project involved a series of cross border intergenerational workshops, local intergenerational planning sessions and activities and a fun final trip to Carlingford followed by a reflective session.  A report of this project be downloaded via the link below:
