CIC Project Pilot Newsletter Article!

LGNI's Creating Intergenerational Communities UK partnership project is really gaining momentum with our first cohort of NI pilots!  This innovative project brings together UK Partners Generations Working Together, Linking Generations NI and Apples & Honey Nightingale to pool expertise and resources to build capacity for quality and sustainable intergenerational practice. This 2.5 year project is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund Bringing People Together UK Fund.

A key output will be the production of a Quality Indicators Toolkit for evaluating Intergenerational Practice which will be piloted with training and support from the UK Partners.  Each partner will be supporting the development of intergenerational pilot projects in their own countries with a total of 30 in the projects lifetime.

LGNI are delighted to see the Newsletter Article (link below) which showcases the fantastic work being completed by one of our NI pilots Dunluce Healthcare's Oakmont Lodge and Red Brick Nursery Bangor - Northern Ireland care home and nursery children bridge generation gap to promote friendship (newsletter.co.uk)
