Cloughmills Golden Oldies and Cloughmills Primary School showcase their arty talents!

Joyce from LGNI has worked closely over the last few months with Cloughmills Golden Oldies group and Cloughmills Primary School, developing their link as part of LGNI's Arty Generations Project.

Funded by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland through their Arts for Older People Fund this project brought P6 and P7 pupils from the school, together with members of the older peoples community group, to complete this amazing piece of art work!

After completing Age Awareness sessions with both groups, Joyce then assisted with both the planning and delivery of this project.

The art sessions were facilitated by local artist Paddy McCann and took place over six dates between February and May within the school. The participants came together again for a celebration event to mark their achievement and it's LGNI's hope that this intergenerational relationship continues into the future.
