Positive Ageing Month 2023 takes place in Northern Ireland during the month of October, launching on the 1st October - International Day of Older Persons. As people live longer, we all need to consider how best to support the older generation in our community – but also how best to celebrate them. Each year, during the month of October, Positive Ageing Month is held, which offers opportunities for a range of events, activities and programmes to be held which celebrate the contribution older people make to their communities.
Linking Generations NI see this month as a perfect opportunity to create new intergenerational connections and celebrate existing ones! We are calling on our supporters to help bring generations together in their own families and the communities they live work and go to school! Check out our ideas resources below created by the LGNI Team! We would love you to help us and share with us on our social media channels!
