All Ages April Grants Scheme 2017

A small grants scheme supporting 49 intergenerational activities across 11 council areas in Northern Ireland

#AllAgesApril is a month to bring all ages together – to share, learn, connect and have fun!

Supported by the Public Health Agency, Our All Ages April smalls grants scheme provides grants of up to £150 to communities to support one-off events / activities that bring generations together in the month of April. We also use this month to promote intergenerational activity through social media campaigning and generally shouting extra loudly about the benefits of bringing all ages together!

This year the programme engaged 3500 people and the total number of 49 selected grantees included:
13 primary schools, 5 post primary and 7 nursery/pre-school settings, 2 care homes, 10 community/residents groups, 2 youth organisations, 1 sports club, 4 housing association groups and 5 older people’s groups.
