LGNI are delighted to be able to offer small grants as part of our Food For Life Get Togethers Project in partnership with the Soil Association.
We are inviting applications for intergenerational Get Togethers ideas that bring generations together to have fun and enjoy each others company through Good Food.
The small grants are £125 and are open to a range of groups across Northern Ireland including: older people's groups, care homes, schools, nurseries, community, housing settings, groups, youth groups etc.
Ideas and resources are highlighted in the application pack on this page which can be downloaded for completion via the link below or a word version at the bottom of this page:
You can also visit the Food For Life Get Togethers site and LGNI Resources section for inspiration and support with your ideas! We would urge to sign up to the Food For Life Get Togethers network to keep in touch with their amazing opportunities and campaigns!
A report of the activities as part of last years scheme and feedback from participants can be accessed here.
As we move out of Covid and hopefully towards a more connected and normal Christmas we hope this scheme will off the perfect opportunity to bring generations together again!
